Innovation Workshop
This workshop is intended to give members of Research Training Groups and Collaborative Research Centers career options beyond the academic path. The aim is to explore how research and start-ups can be linked by presenting case studies and drawing on initial ideas. The workshop participants will have the chance to get the nudging, support, and feedback they need to explore the start-up potential of their research topics while connecting with others.
The idea of this workshop is to help researchers consider a path towards entrepreneurship. This will be achieved by creating and innovating through the “Lego Serious Play“ model, where participants can present their research topic in a visual way to their peers and use it in a second approach to ideate around the research topic.
Additionally the participants will learn about FAU’s startup ecosystem and how they can use the support offered especially by FAU’s Startup Service and ZOLLHOF Tech Incubator to start their own business.
